The U-M Comprehensive Depression Center is the first of its kind devoted to bringing depression into the mainstream of medical research, education, and public policy. We are changing how depression and bipolar illnesses are understood and treated.
Campus Mind Works
Campus Mind Works is a website and outreach initiative developed by the University of Michigan Depression Center to help support the mental health of U-M students.
Funds from this gift will help to support the Campus Mind Works website, which includes a comprehensive database of mental health and academic support resources at the University of Michigan, as well as strategies and self-care tools to help students stay healthy and manage their emotional health within the context of college life.
Funds will also support numerous related outreach activities, including:
- free, bi-weekly, drop-in education and support groups for students held in easily accessible classroom settings;
- depression awareness/theatre presentations in student residence halls;
- “Notice & Respond” training sessions for faculty, staff, and students.
